Wilmington's Celebration Committe is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to making Wilmington's community celebrations a fun, family-friendly success for everyone.
Our volunteers generously donate their time to ensure our community events are unforgettable. From our multi-day Fun on the Fourth to the charming Wilmington Fall Festival, and the magical Holiday Market and Tree Lighting, our committee works tirelessly to create experiences for everyone, young and old. With a deep-rooted passion for our town, we are committed to bringing joy and togetherness to the community we proudly serve.
Serving the community since 1981, the Committee was formed in response to the Town's wishes to continue the family atmosphere originally created by Wilmington's 250th Anniversary Celebration.
What started as one, fairly small Fourth of July event, with a few key civic organizations participating, has grown into the single largest 4th of July celebration in the State of Massachusetts.
Today, with dozens of Wilmington based businesses and community organizations supporting our efforts, the Celebration's Committee host three of the Town's most significant community events throughout the year.
Our Mission is to foster a vibrant community spirit through inclusive and memorable events. From our iconic Fourth of July festivities to the warm embrace of the Fall Festival and the enchanting Holiday Tree Lighting, we unite Wilmington's diverse tapestry of families, businesses, and organizations.
Driven by passion and dedication, we strive to create joyous experiences that celebrate our town's heritage while building lasting connections among neighbors of all ages. Together, we ensure Wilmington remains a place where community thrives and traditions endure.
